Greg Field ’85

Greg Field- Drake Theta Chi '85Gregory L. Field ’85 passed on to Chapter Eternal on January 8, 2013. Greg was born in Peoria, Illinois, and grew up in Lake Forest. Greg was an advertising executive and worked for a variety of companies, including Leo Burnett, AT&T, Charter Communications, and Sprint. He was a senior partner with Moroch Partners. Greg was an expert in advertising for McDonald’s Corporation and others , and received many awards for his creativity throughout his career.

Greg is survived by his wife, Lynne; two daughters, Caroline and Katherine, mother, Laura Phelps Dyke; stepfather Thompson Dyke; and two sisters, Kimberly Springer and Wendy Field.

Greg was a wonderful father an great provider for his family. He loved dogs, gardening, and walking on the Highline Canal near his home in Denver.

    Greg was one of the primary people who rushed me in the fall of ’84. He and a handful of others are the reason I joined Theta Chi. He will be missed. Brother Mark Davenport ’88
